Action of the Scholars "Together against Diabetes and Hypertension"
Nine medical students conducted a campaign titled "Together against diabetes and hypertension" in Mirkovtsi village. The main activities which were carried out by youngsters were measuring blood sugar and blood pressure. The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness of the inhabitants of Mirkovtsi about the possibilities for prevention and prophylaxis of the disease, as well as practical guidance and advice for the treatment of those affected by the disease. The event was part of the program "Scholarships for Roma students in medical universities and colleges."
