NIŠ: Launching of the Roma Health Scholarship Program (RHSP)
This year, Institute for an Open Society and Fund for an Open Society within the framework of the Health Program in cooperation with the Roma Education Fund Scholarship Program are launching Roma Health Scholarship Program (RHSP).
The Program is dedicated to the members of the Roma national minority who completed the 8th grade of elementary schools and wish to enrol in secondary schools in the field of medicine, pharmacy, stomatology and other medical vocational studies, as well as to the secondary school and university students pursuing education at private and public secondary schools, private and state-accredited faculties and high schools in the field of medicine, pharmacy, stomatology and other health-related studies in obtaining a Bachelor, Master or PhD degree.
Deadline for submitting of applications for RHSP scholarships is 30 May 2010.
Press conference will come up with the importance of this Program for advancement of the living conditions of the Roma people, support to this Program by the government agencies of the Republic of Serbia and instructions to potential candidates how to apply.
