When health workers receive support and adequate training, they are very efficient advocates for systemic changes. Accordingly, it is assumed that the citizens of the Republic of Serbia who belong to the Roma community will be more willing to exercise their health rights knowing that Roma health professionals work side by side with the members of majority population in the healthcare services.
