Roma Health Scholarship Program

Building a generation of Roma medical professionals

Mailing List Subscription

The mentoring component, carried out by the Association of Resident Physicians, ensures the allocation of a mentor (most often a resident doctor) to every RHSP student. The component assisted 358 Roma students, who worked with around 50 mentors. After seven years of implementation of the RHSP programme, we have three specialist doctors, ten resident doctors in prestigious medical centers (Bucharest, Targu Mures, Iasi, Timisoara, Craiova, Brasov) and one expert in public health in the World Bank, Washington D.C.

2014 - 2015

In this period, 45 Roma students benefitted from the mentorship component. They worked with their mentors towards achieving academic excellence.
