Meeting of Scholars in connection with the World Health Day - April 7, and the International Roma Day - April 8, 2013
On the occasion of the professional holiday of workers in health and World Health Day - April 7, and the International Roma Day - April 8, was held a meeting of Roma students studying in medical universities and colleges with the Minister of Education and science, organized by the Center for Interethnic dialogue and Tolerance "Amalipe" and "Open society".
To participate in the meeting were invited Deputy Minister of Education and Science - Mukaddes Nalbant, Ambassador of Norway to Bulgaria Gyuro Katarina Heluig Vikor, health mediators, medical practitioners and other health professionals of Roma origin.
14 medical students of Roma origin studying in medical schools across the country in different disciplines (medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, nurse, occupational health and performance, hygiene, medical laboratory and others) had the opportunity to discuss topics related to education medical and health issues.
The event was part of the support program for students of medicine and other specialties in the field of health.
